Resumo: O artigo, a partir de um nível teórico e do relato de experiências reais sofridas por um dos autores, apresenta uma síntese da história das instituições punitivas na sociedade ocidental e um panorama geral do funcionamento da repressão durante a ditadura militar argentina, abordando, em seguida, a arquitetura e a organização espacial dos Centros Clandestinos de Detenção, mais precisamente o CCD Club Atlético, e seus efeitos sobre os corpos e mentes dos detidos.

Abstract: The article, from a theoretical level and reports of real experiences suffered by one of the authors, gives an overview of the history of punitive institutions in Western society and an overview of the operation of repression during the military dictatorship in Argentina, addressing then the architecture and spatial organization of clandestine detention centers, more precisely the CCD Athletic Club, and its effects on bodies and minds of the detainees.
